Project:
Streamlining sales, waiter service, delivery and inventory across two different hospitality concepts
Sector:
Hospitality
Location:
Warsaw, Kraków, Poznań, Gdańsk (Poland)
Product:
Pita Bros is a chain of Greek street food venues, and Meze is a restaurant with full table service. Both brands belong to the same owner and serve hundreds of guests every day across different locations. When their previous POS system stopped meeting the needs of the growing business, both concepts implemented GoPOS solutions matched to their different operating models.
See how GoPOS technology supports the key areas of their operations and translates into smoother service, better-organised work and greater control over the business.
The GoPOS system grows together with our business, which is why it performs excellently in every one of our locations. Overall, we are very satisfied with the GoPOS solution. In my opinion, it is the best solution on the Polish market, offering a complete ecosystem of applications, thanks to which everything is in one place.
Pita Bros operates in the fast format of Greek street food, where service speed, a simple point of sale and efficient order fulfilment are what count. Meze is a restaurant with full table service, where smooth guest service and good organisation of the floor team are key. These are two different operating models - and both are built on the same system.
Both concepts chose GoPOS, but each implementation was matched to the specifics of the venue. At Pita Bros the system was configured for fast sales at the counter, and at Meze - for table service by waiting staff. Both concepts therefore use one proven solution for managing sales, the menu, prices and reporting, adjusted to their different operating models.
For a multi-site business, it is particularly important that GoPOS can grow together with the company. Every new opening - regardless of the concept - can be based on a familiar ecosystem of applications, with no need to build processes from scratch.
At Meze, a full-service restaurant, what matters is not only taking the order quickly, but also smooth service throughout the guest's entire visit. Mobile Waiter lets the floor team carry out the key stages of service from a single device - take the order at the table, send it straight to the kitchen or the bar and process the payment without having to walk over to the stationary POS.
In practice this means a shorter service path and fewer unnecessary steps for the waiter. Drinks can go to the bar as soon as the order is taken, the kitchen receives complete information in a clear form, and the waiter stays closer to the guest throughout the service.
The result is smoother guest service, better organisation of the team's work and a lower risk of errors when orders are passed on.
At Pita Bros venues, where the street food format calls for fast service and a well-organised point of sale, All in One devices proved to be key. The solution combines the POS system, fiscal receipt printing and contactless payments in a single device, so the team can take an order, process the payment and print the receipt without using several separate pieces of equipment.
Thanks to All in One, guest service at Pita Bros became 48% faster and the point of sale was simplified. Fewer devices mean more space, a shorter service path and easier training for new employees.
The solution also works well wherever mobility matters - serving outdoor seating areas, open-air events or sales points that need to operate quickly and flexibly.
Handling delivery previously required several apps and a number of separate tablets. The team had to click through orders manually, which took time and increased the risk of mistakes.
The answer was GoHub - an integrated module of the GoPOS ecosystem that connects orders from delivery platforms directly with the sales system. Instead of working on several devices, the team handles all orders from one place, and the data goes into GoPOS automatically.
As a result, Pita Bros recovered at least one hour of work per day that had previously gone into manually re-entering and clicking through orders. An added benefit is easier management of the menu, prices and sales data across delivery channels.
In hospitality, order in the back of house matters just as much as smooth service in the dining room. Without up-to-date stock data it is hard to control costs, plan purchases and respond to actual sales.
That is why Pita Bros and Meze implemented GoStock - the GoPOS inventory system, which supports control of stock levels, ingredient costs, purchases, deliveries and stocktaking. The solution makes it possible to monitor stock, analyse product consumption and plan orders better.
With up-to-date data the team sees sooner which products are running out, can limit surpluses and make better purchasing decisions. As a result, inventory losses fell by 35%, and ingredient management in both concepts became more transparent and tied to actual sales.
GoStock also helps with food cost control, which has a direct bearing on the profitability of the venues.

| Area | Before GoPOS implementation | After GoPOS implementation |
|---|---|---|
| Waiter service | Before GoPOS implementation Taking an order and payment required walking to a stationary POS, which slowed down service and drew the waiter away from the guest. | After GoPOS implementation Mobile Waiter allows orders and payments to be handled right at the table, with information sent immediately to the kitchen or bar. |
| Counter sales | Before GoPOS implementation Separate devices took up space at the workstation and complicated both the service process and team training. | After GoPOS implementation GoPOS All in One combined POS, fiscal receipt printing and payments in a single device, speeding up guest service by 48%. |
| Self-service | Before GoPOS implementation The ordering process required greater involvement from staff. | After GoPOS implementation E-Menu enabled guests to order conveniently from their phones, shortening the service process and supporting upselling. |
| Delivery | Before GoPOS implementation Handling delivery required using several apps and separate tablets, and orders had to be re-entered manually, which took time and increased the risk of mistakes. | After GoPOS implementation GoHub, a module of the GoPOS ecosystem, integrated delivery platform orders directly with GoPOS, so the team handles them from one place and recovered up to 1 hour of work per day. |
| Stock management | Before GoPOS implementation There was no clear insight into stock levels and food cost, which made responsible order planning difficult. | After GoPOS implementation GoStock, part of the GoPOS ecosystem, reduced stock losses by 35% and gave full control over stock levels and food cost. |
Working with Pita Bros and Meze shows how one technology ecosystem can meet the needs of different restaurant concepts. We are pleased that GoPOS solutions support both the fast-paced service of a street food chain and full table service in a restaurant. With the right combination of modules, both concepts can manage sales, orders, inventory and daily operations more efficiently, enabling them to grow their businesses in a way that fits their individual operating models
